This Week in Panthers Athletics

💛 Wiley Panthers — Let’s GO GOLD! 💛

We’re wrapping up our Childhood Cancer Awareness Month activities with one final Gold & Yellow Dress-Up Day on Monday, September 28!

Students and staff are encouraged to wear yellow, wear gold, and go all out as we show our support for children and families affected by childhood cancer. 💛

🏆 Gold Spirit Awards will be given to the most spirited Elementary Student, JH Student, HS Student, and Staff Member!

Let’s fill Wiley School with GOLD & YELLOW and show everyone what Panther Spirit is all about! 💙💛

Small Bus Route Afternoon Update:

Parents,

If your child rides Ms. Pryor or Ms. Sheilah's bus, those routes will NOT run this afternoon due to road conditions. Please plan accordingly.

We welcome the moisture, but it wreaks havoc with our schedules!

3rd Grade Culture Day:

Mrs. Forgey and Mrs. Mason's 3rd grade classrooms have been studying a variety of cultures around the world. Students partnered up and did a little research on a country. Students then created a presentation poster and presented their finding to their class. To wrap it up and one of the most exciting parts, was the opportunity to partner with LCC and have a few of their students come out and speak to the students about their cultures. "Thank you" to the LCC staff and students for making your way out to Wiley. Our students truly enjoyed the experience and we cannot wait to partner again.

Granada will be hosting a Slopper Dinner on Friday. The dinner will be available inside during the volleyball game and outside during the football game.

Another busy week for athletes!
