Elementary/Secondary Out of District Student Renewal Forms: If you have a student(s) that attends Wiley School District and you live outside of the school district, the renewal forms are now available to begin completing for the 2024-2025 school year. Out of District renewal forms are due May 1st to secure a spot for your child(ren) for the 2024-2025 school year. Please read the FAQ's sheets (first two pages) carefully for there have been some changes. Please make sure that you complete a form for each child if you have more than one attending. Please use the link below to access the Out of District Renewal forms. The forms will be on the far right side of the page and blue hyperlinked for easy access. Please fill out the correct form. There are separate forms for elementary and junior high/high school. Please reach out to Ms. Larrick or Mr. Eikenberg for any questions you may have. West Texas is coming up.
World Down Syndrome Day is happening on March 21st or 3/21. There are students, staff members, and people in our Wiley community who love someone that was born with Down Syndrome. To show our support we are asking that students and staff wear 'funky' socks on Thursday. We wear funky, bright, or mis-matched socks because our chromosomes (under a microscope) look like brightly colored socks. The date for World Down Syndrome Day was selected as the day of celebration to signify triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome. Which means, people are born with two of each chromosome, however, people with Down Syndrome have 3 of their 21st chromosome.
We look forward to seeing all of the different socks on Thursday!!

Wiley School District Request for Proposals for Annual Auditing Services: Wiley School District Re-13JT is seeking proposals from a CPA and/or CPA firm for the examination of their financial statements and the auditing of accounting and internal control practices as required on an annual basis. Proposals must be received by 4:00 pm on April 25, 2024. Proposals may be submitted in person, by mail, by email, or by fax. Bids will be reviewed at the regularly scheduled Board meeting on May 20, 2024. The selected proposal will be notified by Friday May 24, 2024. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and does not bind itself to accept the low bid, but the bid that it feels will be in the best interest of the School District.
