Wiley Elementary School will be hosting Field Day on May 15, 2023. Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade will be competing at 9:30 am against Alta Vista. Third, 4th and 5th grade will be competing at 1:00 PM against Alta Vista.
Below is a link for field day shirts! We would love for all students to be matching and showing Wiley pride. Shirt orders will be placed by parents but picked up by our PE teacher and passed out at school.

Wiley Parents - we wanted to update you on an issue that happened today at our school. Around 3:30 the Prowers County Sheriff's Department called our school and indicated a matter of concern happening in our area. Because of this, we went to a secure LOCK OUT. This means no one is able to exit or enter the building, while activities within the building operated as normal. This lasted for about 15 minutes, with the sheriff's department lifting the lock out. Please know that our number one priority is to keep our students and staff safe! We really appreciate the Prowers County Sheriff's Department!!

Wiley parents - The sheriff's department called around 3:30 pm asking us to hold our students within the school due to some concerning activity in the area. We HAVE to hold all student in the building until the sheriff's department releases us from said hold. All students are safe, but will arrive home or can be picked up after 4 unless otherwise advised. Keep in mind our number one priority is keeping our staff and students safe.
