Wiley High School's History of Wiley class is helping to reorganize the Wiley Museum, located in the old rock schoolhouse on Main Street. The class is also interested in creating some new exhibits in the museum as well as adding to already existing artifacts.
If you are interested, the class is asking for donations or items to be loaned to the museum:
*Early Wiley (1907-1930's) - for example, antiques, small scale farming equipment, pictures, letters, etc.;
*Wiley during the World Wars - for example, pictures, letters, stories, memorabilia, etc.; and
*Wiley School History - for example, pictures of the rock schoolhouse pre-1980's, school apparel/uniforms, pictures, letters, stories, etc.
We would like to have artifacts collected by the end of March, so that exhibits can be set up and tours can begin for the school classes and for the community in April or May. To donate/loan items or to ask questions, please contact Mrs. Nicole Piner at 829-4806 or by email (nicole.piner@wileyschool.org). Thank you!

Come out and support your Wiley Panthers at the Regional Tournament. The boys will face Primero at 11:20 a.m. at La Junta High School.
Good News...the Preschool Enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year is now open! You can head to our website (www.wileyschool.org), click on the Student Services tab, click on Enrollment Forms, fill out the Preschool forms and you are all set. If you have any questions, please call the school at 829-4806.

BOOK FAIR!
It’s that time again. The book fair will be here March 7th - 10th . Students will be able to purchase books during their library time and the last hour of school if they have free time. The library will stay open after school until 5:00 Tuesday and Thursday, and Wednesday until 6, for the community.
Support your classroom Library! Help teachers by donating a book on your classroom's wish list. There will be a teacher award for the class with the most books purchased. There will also be a class drawing. For each book purchased, that student's name will be entered into a drawing. There will be a winner chosen for each class and that student will receive a free book of their choice.
You may also choose to purchase books online, this is a convenient way to make your purchases that will still benefit our school. Scholastic is also offering a new program called ewallet. This allows you to add funds to your “wallet” so your student can purchase books online or at the fair without having cash in hand. We would like to congratulate our Wiley Girls Basketball team on a well played season.
We are excited that the Wiley Boys Basketball team made it into the 2nd round of Districts. They will match up Thursday night at 7pm vs. McClave at the Lamar Community Building. Come out and support your Wiley Panthers.
